I speak for you!
I am a trained conference interpreter (M.A.) for the languages French, English and Spanish and work with great passion in my profession. What I value most about my work is the variety of topics and the encounters with the most diverse people.
Even though I usually stay in the background when interpreting, I attach great importance to acting as a human being in my work and not just "doing things by the book". The focus of my professional activity is currently in the judicial sector. I work as a court interpreter and as a liaison interpreter in various prisons and with the police, for experts and lawyers. I am sworn and authorised for courts and notaries for the languages English, French and Spanish.
In addition, I accept interpreting assignments for Portuguese, Swedish and my second mother tongue, Slovak, by agreement.
Interpreting and translating runs in my family. My mother has also worked as a translator and interpreter for many years. You can find more information about her main areas of work and languages at www.zuzanafinger.de.
